I’ve never been much of a folkie, but that changed when I found Stella, a Harmony acoustic guitar from the 1960’s. It hurt my fingers at first, so I added an extension nut and started playing with a bar of steel. Suddenly I was in love with the soft, woody tones of this old acoustic lap steel. Within a week, I sat down and started recording an album. It was released on August 1, 2014. Doug Jayne calls it my “musical selfie”. You can get it digitally from Bandcamp, or order the CD from Kunaki.com. I hope you like it!
