Bobby's Music & Site NewsSince January 2001, I've been playing in a band called Open Hearts, led by singer/songwriter John Reese. As of 2006, I've curtailed my performances with other acts quite a bit. Check the Open Hearts calendar for our gig dates. My friend Susan Bendinelli at Studio Slips has stopped making steel guitar gig bags. They were just too complex to make profitably. Thanks for the effort, Susie! You can still get amp covers from her, though. Her products are the best! In December 2001, I made the big move to the sleepy little town of Cloverdale, California. I opened an office in downtown Cloverdale, and installed the Steel Guitar Forum server on a T1 line there. The Forum is made possible by your donations and by purchases from my online catalog of steel guitar CDs, courses and strings.
